Technical Advisory Committee Meeting

Purpose:

To reach consensus on papers requested by the Eleventh Meeting of the Montréal Process Working Group as follow:

  • Examples of mechanisms for the development, identification and implementation of sub-national indicators for sustainable forest management, which can be linked to national level indicators;
  • Technical exchange and collaboration needs of the Montréal Process countries;
  • Scientific Expert Contact List.
Venue:

Room rate: 9,800 yen per person, including breakfast, service fee and tax

Climate:
  • The days are in rainy season, may be hot, daily maximum sometimes exceeds 25C, minimum around 15C.
  • It is better to bring shoes for field walking, 15 minutes walking times are included in one day trip.
In Narita Airport:  
  • Please exchange your currency to JP Yen at Narita Airport. (DinersClub, VISA, UC, milloncard, Nicos, orico, MY-CAL, BANCS and cirrus are available at Citi Bank's dispenser.)
  • Because, bus ticket to Tsukuba Center is available only by cash at Keisei counter. (If you have no time to buy ticket, pay 2,540 Yen to bus driver directly.)
  • Credit cards are available in the hotel and big stores in Tsukuba. But, cashing dispenser is for Japanese bankcard only, not for credit card.
  • We will collect 4,000 yen for launch fee (4 days total) per person, at the first morning in FFPRI.
